ADEFUNKE HELEN ANOMA
She is a graduate of the Ekiti State University where she holds a Masters Degree in Law. A Chief Magistrate with the Ekiti State Judiciary since 2009. Adefunke is a chartered secretary and administrator, certified arbitrator and member, Nig. Institute of Mediators.
An ardent voice for sustainable social development, women/children rights and environmental protection. In 2019, she was selected the Ekiti State Chairman of Women Advocate Team, a State Program supported by the National Democratic Institute, (NDI) working on the strategy to improve the socioeconomic status of women,sponsored by UNAid.
She was the State Chairperson, International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA NIG) Ekiti State Branch from June 2016 – June 2019. She is a voice for women active participation in leadership positions at all levels. She has mentored several and supported them to develop leadership potentials to hold various offices with integrity and character.
Away from law and justice, Adefunke is passionate about sustainable environmental development. She is a Co-founder; with Olayinka Balogun, (Esq), of Emeraldscape Environmental Development a.k.a EMEND. A non governmental organisation working towards healthy environment. EMEND is focused on communal engagements to create local solutions towards ameliorating the impacts of global environmental challenges such as, desertification, waste management and climate change.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”34px” css=”.vc_custom_1619012752870{padding-top: 10px !important;padding-bottom: 10px !important;}”][vc_column_text]
OLAYINKA BALOGUN
He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1988. Bagged B.A (Hons) History University of Ilorin, 1983 and L.LB (Hons) University of Ibadan, 1987. He worked with the firm of Lawal Adedayo & Co and later managed the firm of Balogun , Fawole & Co. He then joined the Public Service ( Institute of Public Analysts of Nigeria) IPAN from where he retired as a Director recently. He is back to full private practice as Managing Partner of Balogun, Fawole & Co.
Away from corporate legal practice, Olayinka is passionate about clean, safe and sustainable environment. He believes the youths have so much to contribute to the development of that dream environment and is working through Emeraldscape Environmental Development (EMEND) an NGO he co-founded with Adefunke Anoma an equally green and nature zealot.
